CLUSTER
The Cluster is very similar to my Twin plus One model with a few updates. This design is an all-round utility board for general east coast conditions in Oz. The outline has elements of the Quartet template, like a lot of my designs, with a sensible fuller outline at around 15 inches in the Nose and a 15 ½ inch Tail.
Surf it about an inch or two above your height and I mostly use Twin side fin sides with a small centre stabiliser fin but you can also surf with a large Thruster set as well. Ive added a ½ inch of Nose and Tail rocker with a subtle single concave and refined the extremities to fit nicely in the pocket. The Flax / Epoxy / Styrofoam materials add more paddle power and performance to this design. She comes standard as a Squash tail but is open to customisation with different tail shapes if you are feeling creative.
